Nice museum with tons of Patton memorabilia. They're doing some construction now on the inside, so the flow is a bit disjointed, but definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Jennifer S的完整评论

I had heard there was a tank that was open so you could see the inner workings of the tank, is this true or has this tank also been moved to Fort Benning?
答:
I've never seen an open tank there but there's been quite a lot of work there in the last year or so. There is still a lot to look at and plenty of static displays to see.

I visited the Patton Museum and do not recall a T-29 there. The Wikipedia article on the T-29 suggests three examples still exist, two at Fort Benning as part of the National Armor and Cavalry Museum and one in Michigan. The Patton museum has limited armor on display as it is not a museum dedicated to armored vehicles as such or even tank warfare but rather to the history of George Patton, arguably Americas most famous commander of armored forces.
问:
How long does it take to tour this museum roughly?
答:
Can do it in about 1.5 to 2 hours as we did as we were on a time crunch.
